On 28 May, Cairo Rugby finished the season in style by securing a victory in the cup final to AUC! The week before, Richard Hile, had led the ERFU Barbarians to the victory against the ERFU men’s XV. National team coach John Regan will be supervising the last training session at the British International School, Cairo (BISC) on 4 June before enjoying a well-deserved summer break.

The Annual General Assembly meeting will be held at the British International School, Cairo (BISC - www.bisc.edu.eg/nschool/map_flash.php) on Friday 18 June at 3 pm. All ERFU members are cordially invited to attend and to run for the available Board positions. The draft annual report for the 2009/2010 may be downloaded here.

The first national jersey is still for sale – more information in the shop. The proceeds of its sale will be used exclusively to finance the jerseys of the men’s and women’s national teams and for the development of rugby in Egypt.
